The new winter season is just started, and we couldn't be more excited to experience it with all of you! Our summer was amazing; we assembled more bindings than ever before, all 100% handcrafted in Germany. In September, we kicked off the new season with full energy, shipping out your pre-orders worldwide.

Since opening the shop in October, it was an absolute whirlwind – flooded with orders beyond our wildest expectations! The response has been great, and we want to express our immense gratitude for the incredible support pouring in from every corner of the globe. Behind the scenes, our dedicated logistics team of over 10 individuals, tirelessly packing and shipping each day to ensure your orders reach you with lightning speed.

But that's not all. We have used the last months to work on exciting new projects. Since April, we have brought two absolute rockets into our team to take care of marketing, side products and events. We also have numerous exciting events lined up for this winter season. Get ready for some thrilling months!

Page 6: Up in the air: Mark Schrott takes off - and not just in the half pipe

What does an athlete study who catapults himself meters high out of the half pipe on a snowboard? Aviation management! After an injury-plagued winter in 2022/23, Mark Schrott is back on track and heading into the new season with confidence. Also, because he has taken an important step towards his future alongside his half pipe career.

A little carelessness during the front double 12 on the trampoline at the start of last season threw half pipe rider Mark Schrott's planning into disarray over the last few months. Instead of his first full World Cup season, surgery, a break and regeneration were on the agenda. "Sure, injuries like that hurt. But luckily I had something else to focus on last winter," says the 19-year-old German, who has been part of the national snowboard team for almost four years. Schrott passed his A-levels with flying colors in the spring. He then began studying aviation management. "That's totally my thing. I want to get my pilot's license as soon as I can," reveals the SNBGER rider.

But before that, Schrott wants to go all out in the World Cup. The training camps in Saas-Fee (CH) and on the Kitzsteinhorn (AUT) in the fall went well, and the atmosphere in the team was fantastic: "At the start of this season, I lacked the routine after last year's injury. I often get too impatient at the jump." After several weeks of training, the rider has this fully under control. The 19-year-old wants to show what he can do at the latest at the World Cup in Copper Mountain (USA) from December 13, 2023.

Mark Schrott is part of the German national halfpipe team. Born in Munich, he achieved his best placing in the European Cup with fourth place in 2022 on the Kitzsteinhorn (AUT). He has also caused a stir at the Junior World Championships: the clew rider came sixth in 2021. The 19-year-old student lives at the German national base for freestyle snowboarding in Berchtesgaden (Bavaria).

We want to give something back!

This year, we've decided to approach Black Friday uniquely. Black Week is the biggest shopping time of the year. At no other time of the year do we generate so much traffic on our website and social media. We want to take advantage of that reach.

Instead of offering Black Week discounts, we've chosen to allocate 5 % of the sales generated from November 20 to 24th for a special cause. Our commitment to regionalism has been fundamental from the start. With this donation, we aim to give back to our community, which has consistently supported us and played a crucial role in our journey. 

Therefore, we've selected the Weilheimer Tafel e. V., a volunteer-based food bank, not far from our production site in Weilheim. Since 2003, the Weilheimer Tafel has provided and supported people with a low income by providing food from surplus production.

We've deliberately chosen an institution in close proximity to ensure a personal delivery of the donation, guaranteeing that it reaches its destination with 100 % certainty. Your support in this meaningful endeavor means a lot to us and are immensely grateful for your contribution!
